While Windows 98 is getting a bit long in the tooth, there are still many people running it on their computers quite happily. Many of these computers are older units, so the upgrade path to Windows XP or Windows Vista is problematic in that the computers themselves may not meet the hardware requirements to properly run these newer OS’s.
