Have you ever noticed that when you first got your computer, it seemed to run much faster than it feels now? You have come to expect this after years of using PC’s and never thought twice about some of the unlikely culprits. Don’t rule out your antivirus as one of the worst offenders. Not all are created equal. As virus and spyware threats have become common-place, the burden placed upon these tools has increased greatly. This increased burden has undoubtedly made for more resource hungry detection software.
Don’t count yourself for lost, an alternative that we have used here in our shop awaits you, Kaspersky Antivirus. It is less than half the size of Norton or McAfee Antivirus, an will graciouly relinquish resources to your important programs when needed. It has become the favorite by Redwing’s PC technicians and even works with Windows 98 and Millenium. So when your antivirus subscription expires, consider Kaspersky Antivirus.
