The back-to-school rush is on! Notebooks and wireless networks are popular items this season. Almost all of the notebooks we have seen have switches to turn on and off the wireless network card. Sometimes these switches are physical switches on the notebook and sometimes these are switches toggled by special key commands, usually in conjunction with the function key on the keyboard. Exactly how your notebook does it, you will have to investigate. Sometimes the physical switches are “hidden”. We have seen them on the sides, bottom and rear of the notebook. When in doubt consult the manual.
